Chris Brooks is a passionate professional who enjoys cultivating meaningful relationships online and in person. Thrilled by the challenge of working as an “intrapreneur” across complex organizations, Brooks has a diverse background in political, government, corporate and non-profit sectors, building innovative ideas that are ground in business realities, often through the implementation of emerging technologies.
Brooks currently serves as the Director of Corporate Affairs, looking after financial communications, issues and crisis management and industry relations across the business to build and protect Hilton’s global reputation among key internal and external stakeholders.
Within his broadly defined roles and leveraging a diverse skillset, Brooks has been able to develop systems of efficiencies, build relationships across the industry and connect the dots across a complex, matrix organization. Whether it’s improving the media relations process and tools such as the Hilton media center to proactively communicate to key media contacts or responding to a potential threat impacting the company’s reputation, Brooks continues to meet the challenge.
This year Brooks was the lead in developing the company’s second annual report for 2014 – “Return for More.” Working with the VP of Investor Relations and a diverse group of stakeholders across the business, Brooks drove the report from concept to completion, including the creative, content, production and distribution of both the printed 10k wrap and the website.
