2015 Top Places to Work in PR: Vantage PR

Vantage PR believes in a healthy mix of working hard and playing hard, and strongly believes that by interjecting a little fun in a professional environment, it can provide a greater sense of community and collaboration.

Through the ‘Vantage Exchange Program,’ employees are given a travel budget to experience day-to-day work life in another Vantage office. This provides a chance for employees to become better acquainted with colleagues in their work environment and understand the bigger picture at Vantage. Vantage’s Boston and San Francisco offices seem to go to Orlando in the winter. And, no surprise, San Francisco and Boston see people in the summer.

Vantage also holds an annual company-wide retreat where all employees meet to share ideas, offer tips and have fun. The retreat allows employees to learn more about each other outside of work and builds a greater bond between all employees. For the 2014 retreat, a three-day weekend was spent at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico, where everyone attended workshops, went sightseeing and enjoyed each other’s company. In early 2015, Vantage ventured down to South Florida to enjoy 3 days beachside.

As summer is a time where employees like to take weekend trips, Vantage offers Summer Fridays where employees can leave early. Each office also enjoys quarterly activities, a time when employees get out of the office and share in incredible experiences with their coworkers, in addition to monthly company lunches. Employees are also provided a day off for their birthday, as well as an “Autumn Holiday.” And since giving back is a core focus for Vantage, employees are also encouraged to take a day off to volunteer at a local organization.

Vantage has a diverse staff and believes in the hiring and advancement of all employees – there is no preference given to one particular ethnicity or gender. Vantage’s employees have nationalities/backgrounds from Asia, India, South America, Mexico, Canada and the US.
