2013 PR People to Watch: Stephanie Manas

Stephanie Manas, Communications Specialist/Senior Account Executive, Ogilvy

Curious. Fun. Smart. Inspiring. These characteristics describe the employees and creative culture instilled in the Ogilvy Group by founder David Ogilvy, and in particular, one of Ogilvy PR’s rising stars: Stephanie Manas. As a Corporate Communications Specialist/Senior Account Executive, Manas works on a two-person team to raise Ogilvy PR’s profile through awards and accolades, visibility and business development. She works across all eight practices and 85 offices globally to support account teams in developing entries for industry awards, answering business development and media inquires, drafting corporate announcements, managing events, and maintaining the company website (www.ogilvypr.com) and social media channels.

Since joining the agency in January 2011 (her first full-time job out of college), Manas has been promoted twice and has had the opportunity to work closely with Ogilvy PR’s senior leadership team on special projects, as well as parent agency Ogilvy & Mather’s worldwide corporate communications group, on promoting agency news and developing content for the company-wide Intranet.
