2013 PR People to Watch: Heather J. Lennon


Heather J. Lennon, Social Media Strategist and Component PR Manager, Advanced Micros Devices

Heather Lennon led the PR charge for AMD’s Technograffiti, a digital exhibit that was part of the most recent SXSW conference and brought media, influencers and bloggers together at a loft in downtown Austin. Across all social media channels, AMD Technograffiti generated 13.5 million potential social impressions and 30-plus million press impressions.

 In June 2013 Lennon organized Technograffiti 2.0 in India, with more than 40 press and bloggers in attendance.

Lennon is now leading the implementation of AMD’s social media strategy, developing policies and guidelines, training new social media employees and driving new measurement standards and reporting.
