In a period of seven months, Adam Feigen, who manages external media relations for Heineken USA, secured two major national stories in The Wall Street Journal, as well as placed CEO Dolf van den Brink in Fortune’s “40 Under 40” and Adweek’s “Young Influentials” list. Feigen also handles brand PR efforts for Heineken, Amstel Light and Strongbow, and the company’s communication program for distributor stakeholders, who are responsible for selling Heineken products to retail.
He has developed innovative programming to continuously engage top-tier industry reporters. His presence and counsel led to a 2,000% increase in media impressions in the first half of 2013, compared to the first half of 2012. The content, design and editorial development of the company’s monthly newsletter, “The Haystack,” are fully run and led by Feigen. He was recently nominated as a delegate to represent Heineken USA at the “One Young World” global leadership summit last October. This program is the premier global forum for young leaders, and it was attended by a select group of young leaders from 192 countries.
