James “Nick” Kelly is one of the driving forces behind strategic communications for NASCAR's automotive and licensing businesses, which are accountable for approximately $30 million in annual revenue. Kelly is also responsible for managing key communications initiatives around critical areas of the NASCAR enterprise including: sustainability, business-to-business marketing, public affairs, crisis communications, research and development, competition, NASCAR Hall of Fame and corporate giving. 

In just under a year, Kelly transformed NASCAR's relationships with top automotive news organizations, led industry-wide marketing initiatives and product launches and helped reinvigorate the brand’s proactive storytelling.
