Lisa Alder overseas a communications team that practices PR, patient advocacy, visual communications and digital communications. Under her leadership, a social media program was created that resulted in increased visibility for Takeda on Twitter and YouTube.
In addition to being an advocate of the use of social media in the company’s communications efforts, Adler has made an effort to ensure that communications takes a seat at the executive table, and sits on the company's management team. She also has ensured that the departments within the communications department work effectively as an integrated unit.
