In spearheading the campaign for Bellator, a mixed martial arts promotion company, Gruaz leveraged social media platforms and turned the fighting league into a viral phenomenon in just one year. Both USA Today and Sports Illustrated lauded Bellator’s word-of-mouth success, which was coupled with strong media coverage in both sports and general interest outlets that resulted in nearly 1,500 media placements and more than 600 million media impressions.
