Winner: CVS Health and RF | Binder — CVS Health Highlights Commitment to Better Health via Twitter
Until recently, CVS Health’s presence on Twitter was mainly retail-focused. As part of an ongoing effort to bring CVS Health’s philanthropic work to life through social media and to give the brand a CSR voice, CVS Health and RF Binder launched a new Twitter handle to showcase CVS health’s commitment to local communities through various initiatives, including community grants, in-store fundraising, colleague engagement, CSR initiative and disaster relief.
In nearly eight months, the @CVSinAction handle has grown to more than 3,700 followers, resulting in more than 3,900 new connections made through the handle. The company’s handle has also been mentioned more than 1,300 times on Twitter with over 1000 retweets. Through the @CVSinAction handle, CVS Health has established a voice in the Twitter community that has helped position CVS Health as a thought leader in health care. The handle has also served as another way for CVS Health to engage with its nonprofit partners and shine the spotlight on the programs and services they provide.
