Kathleen Stevenson, Assistant Director of Communications and Executive Director, DePaul University Kellstadt Marketing Center & Midwest Marketing Education Foundation
Kathleen has the ability to work with and command the respect of leading academics and marketing professionals throughout the Midwest and the world. She has cultivated a large and impressive network that she utilizes for public relations efforts on behalf of DePaul University and the Midwest Marketing Education Foundation. As a multilingual communications professional, she has traveled with DePaul University students and faculty to India, France, and Austria bringing international professionals and businesses together with U.S. students.
She promoted, organized, and managed the successful Okner Symposium in February 2014. This career-focused day attracted the largest audience ever: 175 marketing and communications students and 30 professionals and faculty. The caliber of professionals that participated in this year’s Okner was unprecedented. Kathleen recruited experts from Google, Leo Burnett, Starcom, Razorfish, and others with whom students were able to interact with in a small group setting.
