One year after the Asiana Airlines tragedy at San Francisco International Airport, Julie developed an event that would reflect on the tragedy, but also tell a positive story about how San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Venter is a vital resource to the community. With so many potentially negative story angels that surrounded the crash, Julie was able to highlight the emergency response training at San Francisco General and focus the media attention on how so many lives were saved thanks to their hard work. The event was attended by reporters from the Bay Area’s top TV, print and radio outlets, including San Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Examiner, and many others.
