Robert Myers, Director, Public Relations, Wyndham Hotel Group
Since joining the Wyndham Hotel Group in late 2007, Robert Myers has quickly climbed the ranks to become Director of Public Relations overseeing PR strategy and day-to-day management of the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program, as well as six of the 14 nationally know hotel brands. In this role he consistently demonstrates his ability to remove barriers and gain significant national, regional and local publicity for the company, its brands, and its executives in outlets like USA Today, LA Times and the Early Show on CBS.
Robert created and spearheaded Travelodge’s biggest promotion of the summer, ZOOcation Celebration, in which the company gave away two free tickets to Zoo Miami with every stay of two nights. He secured National Geographic Travel editor Keith Bellows as spokesperson and garnered 22 live and recorded television interviews, with over 14 million impressions and reached 187 U.S. markets including all top 50 markets in the country.
