Katie has demonstrated a high level of versatility leading accounts in all three of DEVENEY’s focus areas. She joined as Account Executive and in a short amount of time showcased her readiness for more responsibility and greater challenges. A year after joining she was promoted to Senior Account Executive and continues to demonstrate her remarkable skills in both client work and agency leadership.
DEVENEY partnered with The Howard Hughes Corporation and the New Orleans Mayor’s office to bring to fruition the $80 million transformation of the failing Riverwalk Marketplace into the country’s first downtown, upscale outlet mall. Katie created an integrated communications strategy to maximize the exposure of the project to all designated target audiences. Because of her efforts, The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk opened to a huge crowd of excited shoppers. In total, the opening drew 403 positive media placements, which more than doubled the initial goal, in outlets like USA Today, Los Angeles Times, and Wall Street Journal. Since its opening, Riverwalk has sustained large crowds and high sales.
