When MWW became independent a few years ago, its leadership team set international expansion as a key goal—which was realized when MWW acquired Parys Communications in November 2013, officially opening the doors to MWW UK with a new location in London. After gaining Parys Communications' staff and clients, MWW only continued to thrive. It next acquired Macias Media Group, a leading firm in the LGBT market, and launched a national LGBT practice which expanded their client roster to include OUT and Here Media.

In September 2013, MWW was approved for a trademark on their corporate branding tagline: Matter More. Since the slogan was first created in 2012, the firm has been working to modify their messaging for key audiences and expand its branding.

Along the way, MWW made a special effort to leverage news about the opening of new offices, acquisitions and new practice areas to carry on a brand story that would convey the ongoing growth of the company. The expansion of MWW’s corporate identity also manifested itself in an expansion of their tagline, which encompasses the agency’s sustained fresh energy.

MWW worked to position its senior staff as award-winning industry thought-leaders by forming partnerships with leading conferences and events. It also developed an editorial calendar of “thought starters” that would aid MWW’s team in leading the conversation about emerging industry trends, marketplace dynamics and the stories of the day. New launches in mobile and social media assisted in keeping MWW at the forefront of digital innovation, all while continuing to develop and grow prospective client opportunities through targeted marketing and events.

MWW’s smartly developed internal initiatives not only cemented its status as an industry leader externally, but will continue to preserve a sense of connectedness among its employees.
