PR professionals immersed in investment management issues and services should take note that the Association for Investment Management and Research (AIMR) has revised its Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
The new ethical guidelines are outlined in the recently published free 1996 AIMR Standards of Practice Handbook available by calling 800/247-8132.
AIMR President and CEO Thomas Bowman said the new code of standards reflect "the increasingly global nature of business" and also highlight the diversity of responsibilities facing those involved in investment issues. (AIMR, 212/840-1661)
