All Press is Good Press

Well, not necessarily, but the old adage recently panned out for AT&T Broadband. PRN sister publication CableFAX Daily recently reported that the service provider got some
negative press in the Seattle Times when its spam filter blocked a message from AT&T Broadband itself, alerting customers about a rate hike. The glitch has since been fixed,
but company spokespeople say the article was a PR blessing in disguise. Customers who saw the article in the Times and didn't have the spam filter enabled have been calling to
figure out how to begin using the tool. (AT&T Broadband, 303/858-3000)
