Fleishman-Hillard and Georgeson Shareholder, a security holder
and solicitation response firm, have launched a new service for
identifying corporate governance issues that could affect
institutional shareholders' investment decisions. The service,
Corporate Governance Intelligence, includes a qualitative and
quantitative analysis of a corporation's institutional investor
base. CGI audits investor perceptions of performance, management
and corporate governance, and it also takes into account investors'
historical voting patterns. F-H and Georgeson Shareholder say the
service will deliver information that allows a company to develop a
more proactive strategy for communicating with investors, rather
than reacting to negative investor responses. (Celia Webb, F-H,
