So, you've finally scored some airtime on that most coveted stage known as NBC's "Today" show. Here's what not to do with it:

On August 10 (sorry for the reporting delay, but it's taken us that long to recover from our hysterics), Glamour editor-in-chief Bonnie Fuller joined the "Today" cast to
discuss fashion faux pas for the fall season. The segment included a plug encouraging viewers to purge their closets of fashion "don'ts" (items that no longer fit, or appealed to
their tastes) and donate said items to Goodwill.

Upon joining the set, however, Fuller directed the conversation to the subject of visible panty lines - a major fashion faux pas, no doubt - and proceeded to make a grand
donation.

But not to the venerable nonproft. Instead, she presented a red-faced Katie Couric with a week's worth of thongs (by "Cherry Pie," no less) for Couric's own personal lingerie
collection. Hmm. Now we're just thinking that's a media relations faux pas.
