Margaret Little was promoted earlier this year to senior director of strategic initiatives and tasked with managing the NFR’s effort to change perceptions about the retail industry. She wasted no time, launching the “This is Retail” campaign. The branding campaign is designed to highlight the industry’s opportunities for a life-long career in the retail sector and the critical role that retail plays in driving innovation, among other things. In less than six months, national brands like Kate Spade and Domino’s have joined the effort and shared stories through the campaign, which has been featured in media venues such as ABC News and Women’s Wear Daily.
