The New York Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America last week provided PR NEWS with the 1997 winners of the Big Apple Awards. The only winner not yet disclosed is the "Best of the Big Apple," which will be awarded at a banquet luncheon at the Grand Hyatt in New York on May 22. A panel of judges will review all the winners in each category listed below and then pick the most extraordinary example of a PR campaign for 1997. The winner of last year's "Best of the Big Apple" award went to The New York Public Library for a PR program. The luncheon is from 11:30 a.m -2:00 p.m. and the cost of the luncheon is $80 per person and $750 for a table of 10.
